HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance provides a nationally recognised qualification for people seeking employment in the health care sector. Successful completion of this qualification can lead to employment as a:

The course provides the knowledge and skills to work with patients under supervision of professional health staff. Several units in this qualification can be credited towards CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support.

Entry Requirements

Police Check – Students undertaking this course are required to provide a current Police Check with no disclosures. These checks are required to meet industry standards. Should there be any doubt about your ability to meet this criteria, please raise your concerns with a Course Advisor prior to enrolment. The Course Advisor will support you to ensure your Police Check status is verified prior to commencing your training.

Delivery method

The training is delivered using a blended delivery model. This means that training is delivered both in the classroom setting and also via Zoom where students and trainer meet online using their laptop or personal computer.

EmployEase offer two timetabled options for you to choose from:

  1. Weekday Timetable – The course is delivered over approximately 24 weeks. Training sessions are held twice per week from 9.30am to 3.30pm over a 22-week period.
  2. (VIC only) Saturday/Evening timetable The course is delivered over approximately 38 weeks (56 evening classes and 11 Saturday classes) –

Materials and Equipment

Students undertaking this course are required to submit assignments electronically, therefore applicants must have:

  • Access to a computer with internet access and MS Word
  • Access to a document scanner or digital uploading resource
