Overview
COVID-19 update: Students’ health is our main priority throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Where face to face training is required, our training will strictly adhere to all government regulations. Some parts of your training will now be delivered with your trainer via a virtual classroom. Speak to one of our course advisors for specific delivery for each course.
CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
This qualification provides the skills and knowledge required to design, implement and evaluate health and leisure activities and programs which meet the physical, psychological and social needs of clients in a range of settings.
Leisure and health encompasses the activities that we engage in for reasons as varied as relaxation, exercise, socialisation and simply fun.

Delivery method
In the classroom 2 days per week from 9.30am – 3.30pm for 6 months. There is also a 120-hour work placement component to this course which is arranged for you by EmployEase. Our goal is to make your training relevant, inclusive and most importantly, enjoyable and fun.

Entry Requirements
Police Check – Students undertaking this course are required to provide a current Police Check with no disclosures. These checks are required to meet industry standards. Should there be any doubt about your ability to meet this criteria, please raise your concerns with a Course Advisor prior to enrolment. The Course Advisor will support you to ensure your Police Check status is verified prior to commencing your training.
Materials and Equipment
Students undertaking this course are required to submit assignments electronically, therefore applicants must have:
- Access to a computer with internet access and MS Word
- Access to a document scanner or digital uploading resource
- Basic computer and MS Word skills
