Training / Career Pathways
Upon successful completion of this program and following professional registration with AHPRA, graduates may seek employment as Enrolled Nurses (EN). As an EN, you can work across a wide range of allied health environments. In many cases, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or another medical professional. Alternatively, if you seek more autonomy in the workplace and greater responsibility, you might wish to pursue further study at an Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s level in the Healthcare sector. For example, the Bachelor of Nursing, which will see you qualified as a Registered Nurse.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you are qualified to work within a broad scope of healthcare settings. Following the completion of your Diploma of Nursing, you’ll have the freedom to choose between working in a larger team in a hospital setting, or in a quieter environment in private practice with more regularity in the clients you see.
