EmployEase provides face-to-face training, with a workplace component, however, some of the assessments are online. Currently, we are delivering our Certificate IV Disability assessments online and as of January 2016, we will have more qualifications online for the assessment component.
At the moment we do not run night and weekend classes
Yes! We source and organise placement for our students at reputable facilities across South East Melbourne. We place you as close to home as we can to avoid travel time
There are no pre requisites for the following courses:
- Certificate III in Aged Care/ Certificate III in Home and Community Care
- Certificate IV in Disability
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
However, all students do need to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment prior to enrollment.
Our Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management does not have any formal pre-requisites, however EmployEase requires students to be currently employed in the community sector to enroll into this course.
Students are unable to fast-track their course at EmployEase.
We prepare our students as best we can prior to their placement, so that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to be an asset at their placement facility. Our students are trained to the industry standard, and are job ready upon completion of the course, having completed and gained competency in manual handling and first aid in addition to 120 hours of assessed placement.
If you hold a student visa, you are unable to complete a course through EmployEase. Student Visa holders need to complete a course through a registered CRICOS provider.

You do not need to be an Australian resident to complete a course with EmployEase, however we would be required to perform a VEVO check on your visa prior to enrollment to ensure there are no study restrictions.
Non-Australian residents are not eligible for government funding, therefore their course fees will be the fee for service price outlined in the statement of fees.
Yes, EmployEase offers a supportive training environment. Many of our students are either first time studiers, or have not studied in many years. The first day of the course is made up of ‘Return to Study/Course Orientation’ to help prepare you for the weeks ahead.
We also offer regular study support sessions for students that may require extra assistance with assignments.
Not at all! There is a very diverse range of students at EmployEase. We welcome students from all walks of life.
Yes, to participate in the course you will need a current police check. We issue students with the application form which is then completed and returned to us, so that we can lodge and pay for the police check.
In addition to a police check, students enrolled in Certificate IV in Disability or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will also need a current Working With Children’s Check (WWCC). Whilst you are studying you only need a voluntary WWCC, which are free.
The amount of time required for homework/assignments will differ from student to student, however we advise to set aside a MINIMUM of 4 hours per week for study and to complete homework/assignments.
All of our courses are competency based training courses. This means that you are not marked ‘pass’ or ‘fail’. You are marked either ‘Competent (C)’ or ‘Not Yet Competent (NYC)’. If you are marked NYC you are able to resubmit as many times are you need to, with the support that you require to become competent.
As long as you are committed to getting your assignments completed and handed in, it is very difficult to fail this course.
Employease also offers study support to our students, for those that may require some extra support/assistance with assignments.

- Disability Support Worker
- Residential Care Worker
- Activities Officer
- Diversional Therapy Assistant

EmployEase is not a registered job services provider. However, many of our students gain employment at the facility they are placed at for placement.
Our fee’s range from $500 to $3500 depending on your eligibility for government funding.
We offer interest free payment plans for our students from 6 – 18 months, with fortnightly direct debits. This allows our students to finish their course and find employment while still paying off their course fees.
The course fee’s include all resources, placement & first aid and will not incur any hidden costs.
The only additional fees are for students that choose to pay their fees using the payment plan option. We use an external company called Certegy for our payments plans, which include an $80 establishment fee, a $2.95 fortnightly transaction fee and a $3.50 monthly account keeping fee.
